Who would have thought I would be writing this?!
While overseas on a ministry trip in May this year, I suffered an allergic reaction that changed my life. One minute I was doing an intense workout, the next minute I was on the ground in a foreign country gasping for air.
I found myself thinking, “surely God had not finished with me yet, I still have so many dreams not yet fulfilled.” I cried out to God repeatedly, internally, “God, please no, Jesus, please help” and was fighting for my every breath. Little did I know that it was an anaphylaxis reaction to a pollen plague that would almost take my life. Paramedics later informed me that I was “lucky to have survived.” I clearly understood that God was not finished with me yet. There were God dreams in my heart, and God was speaking to me, it was now time to step out in faith.
The next stage and season of life and ministry has become very obvious over the past year, with my calendar filling up with invitations to speak at Youth Alive events, youth ministries and leadership events across the nation.
My Senior Pastors Richard and Helen Kobakian agree that it is time for me to step into the next season God is calling me to. It is with great excitement that I can continue to speak into ministries & leaders across the nation with more focus and availability.
I am really excited about the new adventures ahead.
So excited for this next chapter in your life! You’ve always been an amazing inspiration and your wisdom has stayed with me through many of the decisions I’ve made in my own life. I’m excited to see that you’re really stepping out and pray that your wisdom and insight will continue to make a difference in thousands of lives like it did mine! Congratulations on this big step!
